Thanks to everyone who supported and played the inaugural CNKY 2010 Carl Dinsmore Memorial Invitational,  May 29 - 31, 2010!  Please visit our Facebook page for pictures and videos of all of the action over the weekend!  See you all @ CNKY 2011 - Cincinnati USA!

Carl.jpgCarl Dinsmore, founder and president of the Cincinnati Alternative Tennis Association ("CATA"), passed away last October.  Carl was an avid fundraiser for the Caracole House in Cincinnati and other GLBT-oriented charities in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region. He was regarded by many in the GLBT community as the father of Cincinnati gay sports, as he headed several gay leagues and teams in the city, most notably tennis and volleyball.  Carl's legacy and leadership helped build Cincinnati's first organized gay and lesbian tennis league, CATA, which today has more than 40 active men and women players.   He was a founding member and chairman of the first GLTA sanctioned tournament in Cincinnati, CNKY 2010.
